Amal Emergency Relief Fund – Help Us Protect Lives and Learning
In this moment of crisis, as Israel faces unprecedented attacks and our communities endure the trauma of war, the Amal Educational Network stands as a lifeline for thousands of families across the country. Our schools—serving Jewish, Arab, Druze, and Bedouin youth—have suffered direct hits, leaving students out of class and educators called to the front lines. We urgently need your help: the Amal Emergency Relief Fund will provide immediate support for rebuilding damaged schools, offering emotional care, supplying laptops for remote learning, and assisting vulnerable families left without state aid. Join us in protecting lives and learning—your contribution today will show our students and teachers that they are not alone.

Israel is undergoing an existential war with Iran. While the Israeli Air Force is carrying out precise strikes on strategic targets deep inside Iran, the Iranian regime is launching indiscriminate missile barrages against Israeli population centers. Schools have been damaged, hundreds of thousands of students are out of class, and many teachers and principals have been called to reserve duty. The Amal Educational Network — active in Israel’s geographic and social periphery — is on the front lines, not only as an educational system, but as a safe haven and community anchor for thousands of families.
Amal is one of Israel’s oldest and most impactful educational networks, operating 50 secondary schools in 24 municipalities. Serving Jewish, Arab, Druze, and Bedouin youth, Amal promotes scientific and technological excellence, equal opportunity, and democratic values in a diverse, shared society.
Amal graduates — Air Force technicians, educators, EMTs, firefighters, nurses, police officers, and key figures in local government (including the Mayor of Petach Tikva, where Amal operates two schools) — are now playing a vital role in Israel’s defense and in strengthening the resilience of the home front. We are deeply proud of them.
At the same time, principals across our 50 schools are coping with infrastructure damage, emotional strain, remote learning challenges, and growing demands from vulnerable communities with limited state support.
That is why we are launching the Amal Emergency Relief Fund — a fast and flexible mechanism to address urgent needs: repairing damaged schools, providing psychological support, purchasing laptops for remote learning, offering emergency scholarships for affected students, and strengthening protective infrastructure. We call on our friends in Israel and around the world: stand with us in this critical moment. Support the fund and show our students they are not alone.
This campaign has been completed. Thank you for helping us to reach its target sum for the benefit of the Amal community. We welcome your engagement in our current campaigns.
