Amal Educational Network and Enter Initiative Unite to Build Resilient and Empathetic Students
Amal Educational Network, in collaboration with the Enter Initiative, has launched the Peoplehood Schools Program, an innovative effort to empower students with a strong sense of identity while fostering empathy and resilience. Against the backdrop of a polarized world and rising antisemitism, this program connects Israeli students with the broader Jewish story, encouraging them to embrace their heritage while building bridges of solidarity with Jewish communities worldwide.
Through interactive experiences like virtual exhibitions, global student exchanges, and workshops, the program brings Jewish culture and diversity to life. At Beit Ha’Am School in Rishon Lezion, students created art for the international “Hearts for Peace” project, sharing their hopes for peace with peers in Berlin. In Ofakim, Diaspora Week inspired students to explore Jewish life abroad and culminated in a heartfelt exhibit titled “Our Jewish Moments.” Beyond these activities, educators receive specialized training to integrate Jewish peoplehood values into classrooms, ensuring a sustainable impact on schools and communities.
This partnership aligns seamlessly with Amal’s vision to cultivate confident, compassionate students prepared to thrive in a shared society. By connecting Israeli youth with their cultural roots and fostering mutual understanding, the Peoplehood Schools Program strengthens the fabric of Israeli society and empowers the next generation to build a more united, empathetic future.
