Amal aims at creating innovation Centers in each one of its schools. These Centers will create a culture of thinking, discussing and experimenting in small groups. Creative practice is the launchpad for new ventures with frontier technologies like Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence(AI)  and Extended Reality (XR). Through programs anchored in design, social research, performing arts, and technology Amal aims to empower entrepreneurial efforts to create new solutions and make a positive impact in each one of the school’s communities.

The Centers will also be a focal point in their communities as they will create an innovation ecosystem that will bring together teachers,  students, industry professionals and  startup entrepreneurs to develop prototypes, applications, exhibitions, and performances. We encourage purposeful exploration and collaboration through tailor-made study programs hackathons, public events, and publications.

This transformative program is aimed at inspiring teenage girls in middle schools to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. While many girls traditionally opt for humanities at the A-level stage, our initiative has proven to be a catalyst for breaking down gender stereotypes and steering young minds toward the limitless possibilities in the world of technology and science. Historically, there has been a significant gender gap in STEM fields, with fewer women pursuing careers in science and technology. Our program directly addresses this gap by creating an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages girls to explore and embrace STEM disciplines. By fostering interest at a critical age, we aim to narrow the gender disparity in these fields. Many girls possess untapped potential in STEM, but societal expectations or stereotypes may discourage them from pursuing these subjects.
