Amal Strengthens Israel-Diaspora Bonds on Gesher Delegation to U.S.

Karen Tal, Director General of the Amal Educational Network, is currently in the United States as part of a distinguished delegation of Israeli leaders organized by the Gesher Leadership Institute. The program immerses participants in in-depth meetings with American Jewish communal leaders, key institutions, and a broad spectrum of perspectives across the US political landscape.​

This delegation visit comes at a pivotal moment, as the ties between Israel and the Jewish diaspora have been deeply strained since the October 7 Hamas attack and the ensuing war in Gaza. The events led not only to sharp political and social challenges for Israel but also sparked a significant rise in antisemitic incidents in Jewish communities around the world, highlighting the urgent need to rebuild trust, partnership, and mutual support.​
