A Legacy of Partnership
Established in 1986, Friends of Amal USA was founded to connect American philanthropy with educational excellence in Israel. Since then, generous supporters have helped provide scholarships, innovative learning spaces, technology, leadership programs, educational exchanges and opportunities that have transformed the lives of thousands of students.
Among the organization’s founders was Israel Blum, a graduate of Amal Petah Tikva, whose personal connection to Amal inspired a lifelong commitment to giving future generations the opportunities that helped shape his own life. Together with fellow founders and supporters, he established a lasting bridge between communities in the United States and students throughout Israel.
