Amal’s Leadership Conference Charted the Path for 21st-Century Education

Educational leadership today faces unprecedented challenges, requiring school principals to constantly navigate dynamic social shifts, rapid technological advancements, and complex organizational environments. To equip its school leaders with the strategic tools needed for the academic year, Amal Educational Network held its annual Leadership Conference on October 21 in Netanya under the banner: “Leading Through Change”. The conference addressed critical challenges facing school leaders: from adaptive leadership in times of uncertainty to employee recruitment, retention, and well-being, emphasizing that fostering a strong, supportive organizational climate is essential for sustainable school success.
To meet these complex demands, Amal’s senior leadership unveiled a comprehensive strategic compass built upon a holistic seven domain framework. Key initiatives introduced at the event included “Amal AI”, a tailored tech pedagogical strategy integrating AI responsibly into management, teaching and learning while maintaining human centric ethics. Additionally, the network launched a network wide communications and storytelling project to empower school communication coordinators and student content creators, alongside a structured cross network partnership model designed to turn community engagement into impactful opportunities for students.
This forward thinking conference exemplifies Amal’s ongoing commitment to pioneering high quality, state democratic, scientific and technological education, tailored to the distinct identity of every school. Serving 26,000 students across 50 schools in 24 Jewish, Arab, Druze, and Bedouin municipalities, Amal continues to redefine leadership by combining technological innovation, strategic communication, and human centered support. By providing school leaders with actionable tools and professional backup, Amal ensures its schools remain innovative, values-driven hubs preparing Israel’s youth for a rapidly evolving future.
