Chag Pessach Sameach – May this Passover Bring Freedom to All

So many meanings have been ascribed to Passover but above all it symbolizes freedom, the exodus from Egypt – a defining moment in our national journey. In these turbulent times, I hope we will find the strength and courage to pave the way toward renewed freedom and to rebuild Israeli society by giving extra attention to the transformative power of education, the cornerstone for the change we all long for.

Knowing so many partners have already joined this journey in honor of the Amal community, gives me strength and encouragement to keep moving forward and continue advancing Amal as a unique educational network. Amal works across Israel’s periphery and within all sectors of society, striving to instill democratic principles, strengthen social cohesion, and equip students with the knowledge and creativity needed to secure Israel’s future – both as a just society and a center of innovation.

We continue to act, to hope, and to pray for the safe return of all hostages, all soldiers and wish for a swift recovery for all those injured so we can all regain hope and get on with our lives.

Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful Passover,

With deep appreciation and love,
Karen Tal, Director General, Amal
