Eli Sasson, a central figure in Amal Educational Network’s Information Systems Administration, will retire at the end of April 2026 after 28 years of dedicated service and more than five decades of professional work. His retirement marks the conclusion of a remarkable career defined by innovation, commitment, and a deep sense of responsibility to both colleagues and the broader educational community. Over the past several years, Sasson postponed his retirement multiple times to ensure a thorough transfer of knowledge, reflecting his unwavering dedication to Amal’s continued success.
Throughout his tenure, Sasson played a pivotal role in shaping and advancing Amal’s technological infrastructure during a period of profound digital transformation. From the early days of manual processes to today’s sophisticated data systems, he led and contributed to the development and implementation of complex platforms supporting student data, pedagogical processes, and staff management. His work connected Amal with key government ministries and ensured that critical systems—ranging from matriculation tracking to payroll—functioned with precision and reliability.
Colleagues recall his
tireless commitment, including long nights ensuring that every staff member received accurate and timely salaries. Beyond his professional achievements, Sasson was deeply valued for his human touch and community spirit.
